Woodworking Applications

Previous Page        Homepage

Bridge Abrasives has been a leading manufacturer for the woodworking industry since 1992. Our vast knowledge of side, top, and face grinding wheels for all the machine manufacturers of circular saws, band saws, profile knife grinders and associated products, ensures that we are able to supply the correct product at a competitive price.

With our products being extensively used for regrinding of many tools associated with woodworking, a common application is that of sharpening tungsten carbide tipped circular saws. Shown below are pictures illustrating aspects of this operation on an "Autool" TC25 PLC grinding machine.
To help you with grinding wheel selection, we have links available below which will take you to relevant pages of cross section diagrams and part numbers. These also being available from the engineering page.
